An tasty appetizer that's perfect with a meal and easy to make
Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus, ends trimmed
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 C. shredded Gruyere
- 12 slices prosciutto
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Prep: Roll out puff pastry and cut nine even squares. In a bowl add asparagus, salt and pepper.
- Assemble: Place 2-3 pieces of asparagus and cheese onto the puff pastry square, and fold it tightly. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake: Bake at 425 F° for 15-20 minutes.
